The Steal An Egg Monster Update is historical event coverage, not an upcoming August countdown. Its official Roblox listing ran August 29–30, 2026. The September 5 source check returned a different event: RIFTS ARE OPENING, September 5–6.
The listing’s end does not prove that every Monster mechanic was removed. The dated gameplay coverage below is not a guarantee of availability in today’s server.
Steal An Egg Monster Update timeline
| Date | Supported change |
|---|---|
| August 25 | Our archive captured the official title, teaser, identity and dates. |
| August 29, 15:00 UTC | Published start of the Monster announcement window. |
| August 29 | Pro Game Guides published its Hungry Monster walkthrough with screenshots. |
| August 30, 15:00 UTC | Published end of the original listing window. |

The exact archived window was August 29 at 15:00:56.774 UTC through August 30 at 15:00:56.774 UTC. The record matches Universe 10563114921, Root Place 107778070777162 and creator group 825735094.
Hungry Monster: the reported feeding loop
Dated third-party walkthrough, not our gameplay test: Pro Game Guides, August 29 describes collecting Infested Eggs, bringing them to the Hungry Monster near the selling area and feeding five to obtain a Monster Chest. Each egg adds 20 percentage points.
| Eggs fed in that walkthrough | Reported progress |
|---|---|
| 1 | 20% |
| 3 | 60% |
| 5 | 100%, one chest |
The guide lists temporary growth and Speed boosts, a Flyswatter and a Monstrous Egg among outcomes. Its probabilities are third-party reporting, not a developer-published table. Open the source for screenshots and its full reward breakdown.
That article reports September 5 as the feeding event’s end. This differs from the August 30 end of the official promotional listing: they describe different things. We have not confirmed whether feeding remains available after the Rift update.
Before following an old walkthrough
Check whether the event character and feeding interaction are still present. A historical article cannot establish today’s server state. If an interaction is missing, check the latest announcement rather than assuming an old guide must still work.
Read the egg name and interaction before handing anything over. A guide to a special event item is not evidence that ordinary eggs work. Avoid extending dated rewards to a different chest or event.
This is an editorial checklist for using historical coverage, not an unverified map, cooldown or server-reset rule.
What the original announcement did not explain
The first-party teaser established a monster theme and schedule. It did not name individual pets, publish hatch odds, identify every biome or promise a progress reset. Promotional artwork is not a complete database.
Use Egg Index for retained egg-name evidence. The beginner route covers the ordinary earning loop, and the Treadmill guide separates player Speed from egg growth.
Common questions
Is Monster the current announced event?
Not in the September 5 response, which lists Rift. That statement concerns the official listing at the check time, not removal of all older content.
Are there Monster Update codes?
The archived announcement and September 5 game description provide no code string or redemption instructions. We do not guess codes from an event name.
Why keep this page?
It preserves original dates, separates promotional timing from reported gameplay and sends readers to the newer announcement. Silently renaming the URL would obscure which event a guide described.
