The Steal An Egg Rift Event has two reported activities: fighting a Rift boss and exchanging requested pets for an egg. This guide separates their inputs and rewards, with third-party walkthroughs checked September 7. We have not entered the game to test them ourselves.
The official launch listing ran September 5–6, 2026 at 15:00 UTC. That promotional window has ended; it does not establish whether its mechanics remain available. The newer official announcement is Light vs Darkness, September 12–13.
Steal An Egg Rift Event: choose your route
| Your goal | Where to begin | Do not confuse it with |
|---|---|---|
| Fight the boss | Check the server’s portal notification | A guaranteed location or our own live server check |
| Exchange pets for an egg | Read all three requests at the lobby Rift | Spending Boss Tokens |
| Buy a temporary boost | Check the Boss Shop’s token prices | A Robux game pass |
| Track collection progress | Check the currently displayed egg banner | A verified hatch-probability table |
The walkthrough sections below are attributed community reporting, not official patch notes. Confirm the current interface before committing pets or currency.
Boss fight and portal checks
Pro Game Guides reports portals about every 30 minutes, with a server notification. Its route is: enter a portal, break the boss’s crystals, then attack its arms during the later phase. The guide describes multiplayer participation and reports roughly 1,200–1,500 tokens per defeat. Treat that as a reported range, not a guaranteed personal payout; participation rules were not independently verified.
Boss Shop costs
The same guide lists these token purchases:
| Reported item | Duration | Boss Tokens |
|---|---|---|
| 2x Cash | 10 minutes | 175 |
| 2x Treadmill | 10 minutes | 200 |
| 1.25x Speed | 5 minutes | 225 |
| Mutation consumable | Not verified | 400 |
These are reported event-currency prices, not Robux prices. Confirm the current shop before buying. For permanent store products, use the separately sourced game-pass comparison. The consumable’s percentage effect is disputed, so no numerical benefit is promised here.
Lobby Rift: exchanging three pets
AllThings.How’s walkthrough describes this sequence:
- Inspect the three pet requests shown at the lobby Rift.
- Match each requested name and rarity; use the displayed biome hint to guide collection.
- Hatch the required pets. An unhatched egg is not the requested pet.
- Recheck all three inputs against the current request before submitting.
- Confirm only if you intend to give up those pets: the exchange consumes them.
- Check your inventory for the resulting egg.
Its examples are not a permanent recipe. Requests can change, so copying a fixed trio from an article may fail. Missing one input, submitting an egg instead of a pet, or matching the animal but not its rarity are troubleshooting checks. See the reported Rift pet groups and the egg index for collection context, not a substitute for the request panel.
Banners and Boss Mastery
Sportskeeda’s September update report describes three egg banners with five animals each, a globally synchronized three-hour rotation, and a separate Boss Mastery track advanced by boss defeats. The article attributes notes to Discord; we have not authenticated or directly read that original Discord post.
A rotation interval does not supply its clock anchor. We therefore do not show a fabricated banner countdown. Check the current banner in the interface. Likewise, spending shop currency and advancing a mastery track are different tasks; no complete milestone reward table has been verified here.
Conflicting odds and mutation claims
TechWiser’s Rift guide describes rotating egg offerings. That does not establish the fixed egg-selection percentages given in another walkthrough. Published probability rows also contain inconsistencies, so this page does not calculate expected token cost or guaranteed hatch outcomes from them.
Sources disagree about whether a mutation consumable’s percentage describes an application chance or an income benefit. The mutation evidence note preserves that uncertainty. Exact hatch odds, pet income, pity rules and consumable multipliers remain unverified.

The published end closes the Roblox event listing. It does not prove that all related content disappears then. A countdown is not a live check of your game server.
What the announcement confirms
Roblox categorizes the record as new content. Its teaser describes unusual openings around the world and something on the other side. That establishes the theme and announcement, not working portal locations or a reward guide.
The identity matches Universe 10563114921, Root Place 107778070777162 and creator group 825735094. Event ID 2255520309497168470 distinguishes this listing from the earlier Monster announcement.
Rift versus Monster Update
These are separate official records. The Monster Update listing ran August 29–30. Rift uses a different event ID and a September window.
Do not transfer an old chest table, deadline or farming tip to a new event merely because both mention creatures. The update timeline keeps the announcements together while their details remain on separate pages.
How to use the schedule
Check your time-zone row, then use the official event destination. If the browser countdown differs from the written dates, check your device clock and use UTC as the reference.
New players can follow the beginner guide. The Speed planner compares your own current stat with a requirement you read in the game; it does not assume a Rift entry requirement.
Official announcement versus later gameplay reports
The official announcement provides no pet roster, hatch probabilities, portal map, entry-Speed requirement or redemption code. The gameplay sections above come from later attributed walkthroughs, not from that teaser. No unverified entry-Speed threshold or working code is supplied here.
A video can provide additional evidence when it shows the correct experience, readable interface and a date. A title alone does not establish a secret pet’s odds or availability.
Frequently asked questions
Is this Admin Abuse?
The returned category is new content. The announcement does not explicitly announce an Admin Abuse session. A previous event is not confirmation of one during this window.
Does the event reset progress?
No reset is stated in the checked announcement. That is an absence of an announcement, not a guarantee that every system stays unchanged.
What if the timer has ended?
Use this as the schedule of a completed listing, then check the updates hub for newer verified records. An ended listing alone cannot tell you whether its gameplay remains accessible.
